Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Thursday April 6th, 2017. Josephine Ferket of Mount Brydges went to be with Jesus at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 61 years to Albert Ferket. Loving mother of Peter (Debbie) of North Carolina, Joe (Johanna) Ferket, Frank (Laura) Ferket all of Mount Brydges and Betty(Stephen) Bolton of Ilderton. Cherished Oma of Brooke (Billy), Chris (Julie), Joey (Shawna), Leah (Matt), Eric, Michael, Elise (Jeff), & Kyle (Hayley). Great Oma to Logan, Maycie, Colin, Hazel and Alexandria. Dear sister of Constant (Marie) de Deckere of St. Thomas, Maria Smet (Late Albert), Joseph (Mariette), Alphons (Gerta) all of The Netherlands. Predeceased by sister Paula. Josephine and Albert Immigrated from The Netherlands in 1956 to make a new life for themselves as farmers in Mount Brydges and were active members of their church Sacred Heart Parish, Delaware. Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Sunday April 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Prayers to be said at 6:30pm.
